Mechanical Engineer
ready to take the lead in high-tech system development? We are looking for a mechanical engineer to strengthen a growing team working on the development of new mechanical concepts for Naval Radar and Combat systems. What you'll be doing as a Mechanical Design Engineer:
Supporting a broad range of engineering activities within the engineering department. Taking primary responsibility for generating and maintaining Technical Product Documentation (TPD) for standard products. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary partners, including system engineers, electrical engineers, EMC engineers, and work package managers, often in an international setting.Analyzing problems and define appropriate technical solutions. Aligning and communicating with relevant stakeholders throughout the development process. Executing mechanical engineering tasks to develop and refine solutions. Creating and updating TPD elements such as Bills of Materials (BOM), 3D models, and technical drawings.What you need to be successful as a Mechanical Design Engineer:
Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering. Experience with CAD tools (preferable CREO Parametric otherwise Solidworks, NX, Solidedge) and PDM/PLM tools (preferable Windchill or otherwise PDM team center). 3-5 years of experience as a mechanical engineer. Skilled in working within multidisciplinary teams.Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus). Proactive and don’t mind approaching colleagues to get issues solved. From day one, you'll benefit from:
