Senior Frontend Developer, Hengelo

At BlueVi, you work on a cloud platform that is used intensively every day by tens of thousands of professionals and, in addition, by hundreds of thousands of occasional users. This requires frontend solutions that are scalable, intuitive, and robust. You will work on complex functionality such as planning, calendars, case files, and data-heavy screens in a domain where usability and reliability are essential.

About the role You will join a self-managing team of 5 engineers and work closely with UX designers and a product owner. This role is for someone who takes ownership, dares to make technical decisions, and actively brings others along in quality.

What will you do? Develop and further improve front-end features in Nuxt (Vue, TypeScript) for our BlueVi product. Help define front-end architecture, patterns, and technical decisions. Build scalable, maintainable, and secure UIs with a strong focus on performance and accessibility. Work closely with UX designers on complex user flows.Mentor other engineers and actively contribute to code quality. Improve development processes, CI/CD, and developer experience. Participate in our annual Innovation Week, where you can build and present your own ideas.

Tech&way of working Nuxt (latest version), Vue, and TypeScript. Actively building a component library based on our design system. Accessibility is a standard part of development. Code reviews are standard practice. Releases approximately every two weeks. Engineers have influence over CI/CD and continuously improve it.Datadog for monitoring and observability.

What makes this a senior role You take responsibility for frontend architecture and quality. You make well-founded decisions about tooling, patterns, and technology. You coach other engineers and help the team grow. You think beyond feature delivery and focus on long-term solutions.

Who are you? At least 4 years of proven experience with Nuxt and Vue.js in complex web applications. Bachelor’s level of working and thinking. Extensive experience with TypeScript and modern frontend architectures. Strong sense of UI/UX and usability. You work independently, take initiative, and perform well in a team.
