Would you like to drink coffee with Gertie or Tina, or sing with Corrie? Would you like to give a resident with an intellectual disability extra attention by visiting, walking or singing?

Each location has its own profile, is small-scale and tries to get the best out of the residents.

Guidance helps as much as possible with this, by listening to the wishes of residents and seeing what they can do themselves, with a fellow resident or buddy.

A buddy is someone who can give the resident extra attention, build a relationship, fulfill common wishes and do something together with the resident to support the guidance.

Do you want to be a buddy for location in Hilversum center and North:

Gertie (in her 60s) likes to read and enjoys having a cup of coffee with someone and then shopping together on Mondays and / or Fridays. Gertie likes to receive visitors at a fixed time.

Corrie (56) is a cheerful lady and likes to joke, sing and enjoy visitors, she is looking for someone who gives her“singing lessons”, but is not strict (time in consultation)

Tina (60) is a smooth woman, she likes a good conversation over a cup of coffee, browsing a market for clothes, or walking on the heath, and she is in a wheelchair for the longer distances.
