Your role in our shared journey Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by supporting data-driven decision‑making across strategic commercial activities within the sports industry. In this newly created Senior Business Analyst role, you'll collaborate with Commercial, Category, Operations, Merchandising/Planning, and Finance teams to uncover insights, improve performance, and drive growth through comprehensive business analysis and strategic reporting.
Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Gather and analyse sales data, customer behaviour patterns, sell‑out information, seasonal assortment planning, orderbook management, market share metrics, and financial performance to support strategic decision‑making.
Develop standardised KPI dashboards and reporting templates across multiple stores, channels, markets, and product categories to ensure consistent performance measurement.
Collaborate with senior leadership teams to translate overarching business objectives into actionable insights and measurable outcomes.
Provide data‑driven recommendations to optimise account performance, channel effectiveness, market penetration, and product portfolio success.
Lead cross‑functional initiatives including system implementations, process improvements, and digital transformation projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives and business cases to ensure informed investment decisions.
Identify improvement opportunities and innovative solutions to drive commercial growth and operational excellence.
You have the following skills:
5+ years of relevant business experience.
Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Business Administration.
Strong proficiency in MS Office, SAP FMS/EWM, and BI tools such as Qlik and SAC.
Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and data visualisation platforms.
Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and marketing analytics.
