Credit and Collections Intern, Hoofddorp

This position will provide you with the fundamentals for a successful career in Finance and Accounting, expertise in financial processes and systems for all lines of business, capability to monitor metrics and develop reporting tools, subject matter knowledge on Credit&Collections.

The role As a Credit&Collections Intern, you will be part of the Credit Controlling and Collection Team, responsible for the order to cash process within 16 different entities. Just like every other team member, you will be working on reporting interfaces, direct debit checks, client contact, strategic projects, process improvement and more.

As an active member of the team we also expect you to provide critical feedback on tasks and processes. This includes investigation and analysis of credit risk, together with recommending credit limits on new and existing customers, assisting in reconciling receivables as assigned, resolving open issues, and completing other duties and projects as assigned.

What You Will Need To Succeed

Good with numbers, possesses sound communication skills and the ability to multitask.

Studying Finance, Accounting or related disciplines.

Fluent in English and any other European language.

Organized and open to feedback; this will help you in daily activities.

Eager to learn, proactive and a multitasker.

Knowledgeable of different Microsoft software programs such as Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Word.

Our office is located next to Hoofddorp, Netherlands train station (25 minutes from Amsterdam by train). This position’s location is hybrid, with the possibility to work a minimum of two days from the office and the others remotely.

Some practical aspects

Available to start at the beginning of July/August 2026 and able to work for 5-6 months.

Full‑time work experience internship (40 hours a week); it does not qualify as a thesis or graduation internship, or as a part‑time assignment.

Must be enrolled as a student pursuing a degree. If not a European national, an approved Nuffic agreement is required.

Our office is located in Hoofddorp, next to the train station (25 minutes from Amsterdam by train).
