Human Resource Manager
to build, lead, and develop our people strategy. With 281 rooms, 6 meeting and event spaces, and the dynamic energy of an opening phase, this is your opportunity to create a strong team culture, support our colleagues, and set the foundation for long-term success.
As HR Manager, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and safeguarding all HR strategies and processes within the hotel. You play a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining talent, while ensuring a positive, safe and compliant working environment.
You combine strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach, supporting managers and employees in all HR-related matters and contributing directly to the overall success of the hotel.
Your responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing the HR strategy aligned with the hotel’s objectives
Managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding
Advising and supporting department heads on HR policies, performance management, and employee relations
Ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR procedures
Driving employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention initiatives
Leading learning&development activities and supporting career growth within the team
Managing payroll processes and HR administration accurately and efficiently
Monitoring HR metrics and reporting to the General Manager
Handling employee relations matters, including absence, performance, and disciplinary processes
Building a strong company culture and fostering collaboration across departments
You are approachable, proactive, and solution‑oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine passion for people. You know how to balance business needs with employee wellbeing and are confident in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in an HR Manager or similar role, preferably within hospitality
Strong knowledge of Dutch labour law and HR best practices/instruments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to work both strategically and operationally
Experience with recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
A hands‑on and flexible mindset
Fluent in English (Dutch is required)
