Junior Controller, Hoofddorp

The Business Controller plays a key role in executing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across budget management, rebate programs, and data analysis. This position requires strong expertise in advanced Excel, data management, and translating data into actionable insights, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities 1. Budget and Financial Support

Support the development, monitoring, and execution of budget plans for TIM (sales deduction, marketing)

Track and analyze spending data to ensure alignment with budget objectives

Prepare financial reports and dashboards for management review

2. Data Management and Analysis

Collect, organize, and maintain financial and operational data

Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities

Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data inputs

Utilize advanced Excel models to automate reporting and support decision-making

3. Sales Deduction and Incentive Program Support

Support the management of customer rebates, sales incentives, and COOP programs

Validate spot promotion requests and assist in the approval process

Maintain documentation and reporting related to rebate and incentive activities

4. Reporting and Presentations

Prepare and present financial insights, reports, and recommendations to internal stakeholders

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in finance, budget management, or a related field

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, advanced formulas, data visualization, financial modeling)

Experience with data management tools (ERP systems, BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik)

Solid understanding of financial processes and budgeting principles
