Are you looking for a dynamic role in an international, fast‑growing organization? As a Financial Accountant at Basic‑Fit, you will play a crucial role in our Finance department, which is undergoing exciting projects and transformations. From process improvements and policy development to the implementation of a Cloud ERP system, you’ll be at the heartof it all.
This Is What Your Role Looks Like You’ll be part of our talented Financial Control team (15 FTE), a group of quick‑thinking financial professionals who produce high‑quality reports while closely collaborating with the business. Together with the Financial Controller, you’ll ensure accurate financial reporting and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Your Responsibilities
Maintain, process, and report general ledger transactions across multiple international entities.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, deferrals, reconciliations, and lead schedules to ensure timely and accurate month‑end&statutory reporting.
Support external audit requirements and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Develop and implement efficiencies in financial processes, documenting desktop procedures and workflows.
Work closely with colleagues from Reporting&Tax, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Business Control, and other departments.
Assist management with ad‑hoc reporting, analysis, and strategic financial initiatives.
Who Are You? Detail‑oriented and proactive, you bring a strong analytical mindset. You enjoy solving complex financial puzzles and thrive in a dynamic environment where you can further develop your skills.
Additionally, We’re Looking For Someone Who Is
Experienced in financial accounting with 1–2 years in a similar role.
Skilled in MS Excel (advanced level).
Knowledgeable in IFRS and SAP (S4/HANA) (preferred).
Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
A strong communicator and a team player with excellent time‑management skills.
