About the role
Customer Service&Sales Advisor Benelux&Switzerland for the Ships Service division. Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for customers in the Ships Service area. Manage your own portfolio of customers, advising on product selection, timing, and purchasing decisions. Proactively follow up on customer offers by contacting them to increase the likelihood of purchase. Collaborate with the responsible Account Manager on the Sales Activity Plan, up‑selling, and cross‑selling.Work with internal stakeholders locally and globally to deliver solutions. Use Salesforce to process requests, analyse availability, propose alternative products, and coordinate delivery. Perform other duties as required in a 24/7 environment, including a standby shift once every ~5 weeks. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a commercial field. Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar position (internships and student jobs considered). Experience in the Maritime Industry preferred. Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Excellent communication skills andkeen eye for business opportunities.Ability to build strong relationships with customers. Analytical and digitally savvy to assess customer data and flag opportunities. Systematic and organized, maintaining oversight of ongoing processes. Team player, willing to support colleagues when needed. Positive mindset and solution‑oriented approach.Benefits&Compensation
40‑hour week, one‑year contract with prospect of permanent employment. Competitive salary plus 8.2% vacation money. Compensation for standby shift duties. Bonus/ remuneration scheme.
