Socomec Netherlands, based in Houten with 28 employees, offers local sales, service, and support, providing reliable and efficient energy solutions throughout the customer lifecycle. We are currently recruiting a Finance Manager. Job Description As Finance Manager at Socomec B.V., you will be responsible for all financial operations of the Dutch subsidiary. You will will have a Finance Assistant (1 FTE) reporting to you and oversee bookkeeping, compliance, and financial reporting. In addition, you will deliver strategic financial insights to support key business decisions. You will be part of the Management Team and report directly to the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts receivable, accounts payable, VAT compliance, payroll, and personnel administration Prepare and deliver monthly and annual financial reports to Socomec headquarters in France Ensure timely and accurate tax return filings and compliance with local regulationsProvide financial analysis and insights on profit&loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow, credit management, deal validation, investment analysis, forecasting, and budgeting Monitor budget vs. actual performance, analyse variances, provide commentary, and recommend corrective actions Lead the quarterly P&L forecasting and the annual budgeting process Review and track the profitability of the Dutch subsidiary and assess the financial impact of major transactions Maintain strong collaboration with the finance team at headquarters Identify opportunities to improve internal financial systems and reporting toolsAct as a trusted business partner and key advisor to the Managing Director, contributing to both operational and strategic initiatives

The Successful Applicant Minimum 7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles Master's degree or HBO in Finance, Accountancy, Business Economics, or related field Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP, VAT, and tax regulations Experience in group finance reporting Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and BI tools such as QlikSenseFluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus Proactive, detail-oriented, and hands-on with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel occasionally What's on Offer Market-conform salary package Bonus up to 7% 25 holidays plus 13 ATV days Pension schemeOpportunity to be part of a global leader in innovative energy solutions Role as a key member of the Management Team Investment in professional development, courses, and further education
