Electrical and Controls Engineer - EU Engineering (NL), Eygelshoven

This role is responsible for repairing DSEAR and ATEX compliant Low-Voltage electrical designs and sub-contract technical packages for the design, construction and commissioning phases of capital projects at A-Gas UK/EU sites. You will be working as part of a cross-disciplinary EU Engineering team located in the UK and NL, supporting local Engineering teams on sites throughout Europe.Conducting wiring inspections against ATEX regulations, snagging&fixing of issues. HNC/HND or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline. Fluent in English. Experience in delivering engineering projects. Understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards. Experience of control systems and LV electrical design, construction, and commissioning industrial plant and machinery.Experience of AutoCAD LT/Electrical or similar. Ability to read P&ID drawings. Able to coordinate and work effectively with external contractors Excellent organisational, planning, communication and time management skills. Able to anticipate and solve problems related to projects. Strong collaboration and team working skills Desirable

Experience of chemical processing plant and pressurised liquefied gas systems. Understanding of Functional Safety standards, especially IEC 61511. Experience in ATEX and DSEAR design and installation. Experience of configuring variable speed drives. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations NEN 3140 Working Safely on or near electrical installations (low voltage) CertifiedCOMPEX certification (Particularly Ex 1-4 and Ex12). Programming and commissioning of Allen Bradley PLC systems. SCADA system design experience, preferably Ignition. Multilingual.
