It’s every one of us working together.We offer a place where you can feel safe, be supported, and make an impact so we can all focus on the future together.Our Fiber and Foodservice segment IT operations team is now looking for aSystem specialist for IT InfrastructureThis is a hands-on role for Huhtamaki Fiber technology business unit located at Leeuwarden, engaged in a rapid digital transformation and involved in a number of projects which require resilient and agileinfrastructure and systems. The successful candidate will be working with various vendors to support these implementations and will be part of the Service Desk&Cybersecurity team. This role is responsible to provide quality end user support, whilst ensuring a stable and reliable IT infrastructure. Whilst providing primary support for the Dutch Huhtamaki sites, you will also be expected to provide 1st level support as a part of the Service Desk to other sites across the globe.This role will be physically located in the sites in Leeuwarden and Franeker. Some travels between the sites will be required. Exceptionally, successful candidate should be prepared to provide emergency support 24/7 all year round on site.System specialist will be responsible for the installation, configuration, security maintenance and administration of hardware, software and databases used by the network, server and computer or telephone applications on the site.System specialist has to respect and ensure the application and compliance with local legal rules. Specialist has to follow the rules and instructions put in place by the local site and the Huhtamaki global IT.The main responsibilities includeTaking responsibility for operations and maintenance of onsite IT infrastructure services1st level end user and IT infrastructure supportEnsuring support and maintenance of workstations, office printers, bar code printers/readers, PDAsAdministration of tickets according to agreed service levelsAsset management and device lifecycle managementContinuous improvements to IT infrastructure to increase resilience and capacityApplying IT security standards and following organizations security policiesEmergency onsite support when neededHandling end user communicationClose cooperation with Global IT infrastructure teams and Business IT teamsCoordinating 3rd parties and IT vendorsThe requirements for a suitable candidate arepreferably bachelor’s in computer science1+ year work experience with managing IT infrastructure (network/servers/backup/AD/workstation management/cyber security)Experience with ticketing toolsService attitude, flexibility, willingness / interest to learn, open mindExperience in Microsoft O365 environment and toolsFluently spoken and written in Dutch and English is requiredWork environmentThis is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic and successful global organization and part of a team that values continuous development.
