Internship Overview HEINEKEN is on a journey to become the best‑connected brewer in the world. Our Talent Acquisition Team works to create a best‑in‑class candidate journey and onboarding experience.

Responsibilities

Work directly with the Head of Talent Acquisition, TA Leads and Business Partners on administration related to candidate experience and onboarding.

Collaborate with People Operations, Mobility and other People teams to learn how HR functions operate in a global organization.

Support the end‑to‑end onboarding experience for new intern hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming start.

Participate in team meetings and provide input on recruitment and onboarding initiatives.

Serve as a friendly contact, providing an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Handle sensitive employee and candidate information with care, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Support planning and coordination of team events to strengthen engagement and collaboration.

Coordinate and schedule interviews with Hiring Managers, keeping the recruitment process running smoothly.

Your Team and Workplace You will work with a diverse group of passionate professionals across Operating Companies in the Netherlands and other People teams in Amsterdam.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proactive approach and strong attention to detail.

Eagerness to learn and flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.

Genuine interest in connecting with others, communicating openly, and building positive relationships.

Conditions of HEINEKEN

Enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship; proof of enrollment required.

Non‑EU nationals must be registered as interns with a Dutch educational institution; EU nationals may be registered at institutions outside the EU.

Residency in the Netherlands for the entire internship duration; HEINEKEN does not provide housing.

Possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).

Internship Details

Full‑time internship starting on 2 August 2026.

Duration of 5 or 6 months (to be agreed).

Home office located in Leiden and Amsterdam.

Hybrid model: typically 3‑4 days in office, 1‑2 days from home.

Monthly internship allowance of€650 gross based on a 40‑hour workweek.

Earn 2 vacation days per month.

Full reimbursement of commuting costs if you do not have a public transport student subscription.
