As a Customer Service Specialist - German Speaking, you will be the first point of contact for customers within the German-speaking market. You are responsible for delivering high-quality service and ensuring that customer inquiries are handled efficiently, professionally, and in a solution-oriented manner. You will work closely with colleagues across customer care, sales, logistics, and operations to ensure a smooth customer journey while continuously improving internal processes and service levels.

From its European headquarters near Leiden Central Station, the company supports clients and partners across multiple European markets. Role overview You are responsible for supporting customers within the German-speaking market and ensuring an optimal customer experience Handling customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat Processing and following up on customer orders and requests Managing complaints and escalations in a professional mannerCoordinating with internal departments such as sales, logistics, and operations Accurately maintaining customer and order information within internal systems Monitoring service levels and customer satisfaction Supporting the optimization of customer care processes Contributing ideas to improve communication and service deliveryYou play a key role in building strong customer relationships and improving customer satisfaction in an international setting.
Requirements Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken Previous experience within customer service, customer care, or customer support Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset Proactive and solution-driven attitude Accurate administrative skills and well-organizedExperience with CRM or ERP systems is considered a plus Able to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively Team player with a hands-on mentality Available for 40 hours per week
