Sailing-Classics is an established Dutch shipping company currently operating three large sailing yachts. With our concept of“Authentic Sailing with Comfort”, we have successfully created a unique market segment. During the summer season, our yachts operate in the Mediterranean, while in winter they sail in the Caribbean.

Accounting&HR Administration (m/f/d)

Following a thorough onboarding process, you will gradually assume the responsibilities of the current position holder. You will manage the accounting of the Dutch parent company Sailing-Classics CV as well as the sales subsidiary Sailing-Classics GmbH. In addition, you will be responsible for the HR administration of our employees. You will report directly to the management of Sailing-Classics CV.

Your Responsibilities

•

Responsibility for accounts payable, including reviewing, processing, and paying incoming invoices in coordination with the relevant departments•

Coordination of annual financial statements together with management, departments, external auditors, and tax advisor•

Preparation of payroll documentation for our tax advisor•

Initiation and management of projects to optimize and further develop accounting processes Your Profile

•

Successfully completed commercial training or a comparable qualification•

At least five years of professional experience, ideally within a medium-sized company•

Solid accounting knowledge and experience with common accounting software•

Experience coordinating small teams•

Structured and independent working style combined with entrepreneurial thinking, flexibility, and pragmatism•

Good command of written and spoken English•

Dutch and/or German language skills are an advantage, but not required•

Experience in a maritime environment is considered an advantage
