Inventory&Fulfilment Operations Specialist, Lelystad

We are recruiting for a supply chain operations role within a fast-paced distribution environment. This opportunity is suited to a professional who enjoys coordinating day-to-day warehouse flows, improving operational accuracy, and supporting service performance through close interaction with frontline teams and internal stakeholders.

The position plays a key role in ensuring inventory integrity, order flow continuity, and operational efficiency. It combines system-based coordination with practical warehouse follow-up, making it ideal for someone who is comfortable working across planning, stock control, and execution support activities.

Role purpose:

Working closely with operational and administrative teams, this role supports the effective coordination of warehouse activities linked to stock control, order processing, system parameter maintenance, and daily performance monitoring. The successful candidate will help maintain service reliability while identifying opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and operational accuracy.

Key responsibilities:

Coordinate product placement logic and stock positioning within the warehouse to support efficient inbound storage and outbound preparation flows. Monitor inventory accuracy by reconciling physical and system stock, supporting investigations, and helping maintain reliable stock records. Oversee the operational flow of order preparation, from system release through execution follow-up to final dispatch readiness.Maintain and review key operational parameters in warehouse and planning systems to ensure alignment with production needs. Track daily activity, identify bottlenecks or deviations, and support corrective actions to improve service levels, productivity, and process consistency.

Candidate profile:

Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, fulfilment coordination, or a comparable logistics environment. Exposure to structured, fast-moving, or multi-site operational settings is advantageous. Degree-level education in business, engineering, supply chain, logistics, or a related field is preferred.Professional working proficiency in English. Knowledge of Dutch is considered an asset. Good command of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP, warehouse management, or operational planning systems would be beneficial.
