Role Overview

Join our team as a Technical Application Engineer and play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical business applications and infrastructure. You will provide enterprise-level technical support, manage application environments, and collaborate closely with development teams to deliver exceptional service. Acting as a trusted operational contact for clients, you will support incident and change management processes while adhering to industry best practices.Key Responsibilities

Deliver advanced technical support for applications, platforms, and data management systems. Investigate and resolve incidents in line with SLAs; perform root cause analysis and implement action plans. Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to deploy fixes and minor changes. Ensure timely patch management, installation of updates, and maintain accurate documentation.Participate in ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes. Technical Requirements

Infrastructure : Windows Server 2016+ (installation/configuration). Databases : MS SQL Server (installation, backup, and restore) or similar. Web Services : Experience with IIS Web Portals and FTP. Application Management : Monitoring, analysis, and 2nd line support. Languages : Full professional proficiency in Dutch and English (both mandatory).Nice‑to‑have skills : Experience with Storage and VMware/ESX solutions; Identity and Access Management (IAM); IT Security best practices. Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Solid background in Agile environments and ITIL processes.
