C# Software Engineer

to join our growing engineering team in

Lisse .

As a C# Software Engineer, your main tasks will include: Architect, design, and implement a brand-new control panel application using C# and WPF Establish high-performance, asynchronous communications between the .NET Core backend, data persistence models, and machine-level controls utilizing MQTT messaging protocolsPartner closely with the embedded PLC engineering teams and the Technical Director to align industrial hardware configurations with software components Introduce modern design patterns (such as clean architecture and test-driven concepts) to lay the groundwork for automated testing and robust version control lifecycle management

Your profile Completed bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field Fluency in Dutch and English Proficient with C# and .NET Core with at least 4+ years of practical experience Proven track record building complex desktop or control interfaces via

WPF

(Windows Presentation Foundation) Solid experience handling data access and persistence with

Entity Framework Core Practical familiarity with event-driven or IoT network transport layers, specifically

MQTT Prior experience or background exposure to

PLC / industrial automation

back-ends is a bonus
