In this role, you will be responsible for building a strong financial foundation for clients and within the organization. You ensure that the numbers are accurate, processes are properly structured, and reports are available on time and reliably. In doing so, you make an important contribution to financial insight, stability, and control.

What will you do? As a Financial Controller, you are responsible for the quality of the financial administration and reporting. You work closely with colleagues and support clients in further professionalizing their financial processes.

Preparing and reviewing financial reports

Managing and monitoring monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

Analyzing balance sheet positions, results, and cash flows

Checking the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the financial administration

Preparing annual financial statements and supporting audit processes

Identifying financial risks and opportunities for process improvement

Optimizing and professionalizing administrative and financial processes

Supporting VAT returns, working capital management, and internal controls

Contributing to a reliable financial foundation that supports informed decision‑making

Who are you? You are accurate, structured, and have a keen eye for detail. At the same time, you are able to look beyond the numbers and identify where processes can be smarter, more efficient, or improved. You work independently, take responsibility, and enjoy operating in a dynamic environment with various stakeholders.

In addition, you bring:

A completed higher professional or university degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Economics, or a comparable field

Approximately 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or control

Solid knowledge of financial administration and reporting processes

Experience with Excel; experience with accounting systems and Power BI is a plus

An accurate and proactive working attitude

Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
