Consolidation Specialist, Maastricht

As a consolidation and accounting reporting specialist, you will play a key role in drawing up the group's consolidated accounts, ensuring that the group follows the correct accounting procedures. You will make content governance and compliance an integral part of how the group operates. Additionally, you will be responsible for the Netherlands non-productive office accounting, monthly internal reporting, financial statements preparation and submission to local authorities.

Key Activities

Co-responsible for the consolidation of the financial statements as well as compliance with uniform group accounting policies - 32 legal entities.

Accounting support for the international group companies and ensuring uniform accounting and valuation throughout the group.

Accounting, monthly internal reporting, preparation and submission of local accounting records/ mandatory filings for the OESL Netherlands non-productive office in accordance with local accounting requirements.

Continuously develop the consolidation and coordination processes as well as their representation in the system in terms of optimization.

Co-responsible for coordination of financial audit for individual entities HBII and group purpose.

Co-responsible in the design, implementation, documentation and development of internal controls and risk analysis.

Securing of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting for the consolidation process.

Requirements

Audit experience, preferably in a BIG 4 (PWC / Deloitte / KPMG / EY)

Proficient in Netherlands local Gaap - Dutch Accounting Standards

Accounting experience of minimum 5 years in industry

Experience using consolidation systems (Lucanet/etc) and SAP FI, or willingness to learn

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and native language

Self-efficient and organized in prioritizing tasks and projects

ACCA member or in progress of obtaining membership

Team player with an open-mind attitude

Intercultural sensitivity and very good cross-culture communication and understanding
