Aliform is a dynamic and innovative startup specializing in medical devices for skin surgery. Our first product has been on the US market since last year and is now expanding into Canada. We are the legal manufacturer, producing in-house in Maastricht under our ISO 13485 and MDSAP certification. The role We are looking for a Head of Manufacturing to join us full-time. You will be the primary owner of how our product is manufactured and scaled, working closely with QA/RA, R&D, and leadership. With this, you will play a key role in building robust, compliant manufacturing processes with a strong focus on quality and traceability from early production through scale-up. You will start as a hands-on contributor and grow into building and leading the manufacturing team as production scales.The position is

Your key responsibilities: Lead and actively participate in manufacturing, including hands-on involvement in early production and cleanroom activities Ensure manufacturing operations comply with applicable standards in close collaboration with QA/RA Manage suppliers, driving quality, reliability, and cost (COGS) optimizationOwn preparation and maintenance of DMR and DHR documentation, ensuring completeness and readiness for batch release in collaboration with QA/RA Execute product changes and development activities in compliance with change control and design&development procedures in collaboration with QA/RA and R&D Plan and execute internal and external verification and validation activities for product and process changes in collaboration with R&D and QA/RA In the coming year build and lead the production team

Your qualifications: Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and quality processes in a regulated medical device environment (+5 years) Experience working in a small team, preferably startup Hands-on experience with ISO 13485, ISO 14971 and other relevant standards Independent, proactive work ethic and strong problem-solving skillsHighly proficient in spoken and written English
