Responsibilities
Design, implement, monitor and continuously improve the Global Tax Control Framework, ensuring effective controls and consistent application across entities.
Develop global tax policies and take ownership for their practical implementation.
Monitor, analyse and explain the Group Effective Tax Rate (ETR), including variance analysis, translate outcomes into clear management insights and actively improve the ETR process.
Review tax returns and supporting documentation, identify risks and opportunities and ensure follow‑up actions.
Act as the global point of contact for VAT/GST matters, providing practical guidance and support to local stakeholders worldwide.
Manage and maintain the Transfer Pricing framework, ensuring correct implementation and compliance requirements are met.
Lead or contribute to cross‑functional projects, providing tax advice and risk analyses.
Identify and drive process and technology improvements to increase tax efficiency.
Ensure that applicable tax incentives such as R&D tax credits, innovation box and investment incentives are awarded for the company.
Collaborate closely with business units, finance, legal, tax authorities and external tax advisors.
Support and manage other diverse tax projects on an ad hoc basis.
Qualifications
Master’s relevant degree (e.g., Tax Law or Tax Economics).
6+ years of relevant experience in international tax (corporate tax and/or VAT/GST).
Solid knowledge of global tax compliance and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Proven ability to advise stakeholders and translate complex topics into clear actions.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to operate in an international environment.
