Business Intelligence Reporting Specialist

Join Enza Zaden as a Business Intelligence Reporting Specialist and play a pivotal role in driving data‑driven decision‑making aligned with our strategy. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and shape Enza Zaden’s data capabilities. Responsibilities

Design and deliver comprehensive reporting and analysis solutions for the assigned function. Define data requirements, scope, and planning for various requests. Advise management on strategies to achieve data and reporting goals. Lead insights development, connecting diverse data sources to drive effective decision‑making at both operational and management levels.Facilitate discussions to prioritize data and reporting needs, aligning them with the strategic objectives of both your function and Enza Zaden. Develop and execute training plans for users within the function. Ensure comprehensive documentation of reporting setups, standards, assumptions, and user manuals to enhance cross‑functional collaboration.Implement necessary authorizations, security standards, and, where applicable, report certification to secure and democratize data across the organization. Work closely with Data Stewards, Engineers, and other BI specialists to ensure data quality and model consistency. Report to the Manager of Data, Analytics and Reporting and work at least two days a week from our headquarters in Enkhuizen.Qualifications

Relevant BI certificates and university‑level education (Master’s degree preferred), ideally in an analytics‑related field. Proficiency with BI tooling (e.g., PowerBI), SQL, ERP systems, Databricks, DBT, Excel, data visualisation tools, and statistics. Strong analytical abilities with a knack for structuring and prioritising complex information.Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to educate and empower colleagues. Ability to engage proactively with teams and knowledge platforms to identify and address knowledge gaps. Working Together With

Data, Analytics&Reporting teams– proactively collaborate in realizing the annual action plan and longer‑term strategy. Colleagues within the assigned function – train, educate, and stimulate the use of BI tooling, collect feedback and ensure report/dashboard improvements. Data Architecture and Modelling Specialists, DataScientists, Data Engineers, Platform Engineers, Smart Data Platform Product Owner, Manager Datalab – align on data modelling and data standards, ensure data quality.Peers in other functions– collaborate on creating cross‑functional reports, share best practices, ensure use of the right data sources. Cross‑functional knowledge and experience platforms – share best practices, ensure standardisation of views and layouts. Benefits
