About the Role The Associate Project Manager is responsible for the successful and timely software and service implementation, coordination, and management. This position defines, plans, and drives the team activities necessary to reach implementation objectives, including internal coordination of tasks with a project plan and ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
What You Will Do
Manage the demands of multiple projects and demanding clients both directly and through team members, ensuring that all project assignments are met with maximum quality standards.
Create, communicate, update, and execute the client project plan, including routine client contact via written and verbal communication, on‑site visits, telephone conferencing, and e‑mail communication, delegating tasks and managing progress with timely documentation.
Independently deliver projects of small to large scale, based on client size, volume, number of tasks, and timeline.
Manage scope and minimize and mitigate risk across projects, addressing issues openly, quickly, and escalating to management when necessary.
Practice quality procedures in accordance with Magnit methodology to ensure profitable and successful execution of projects as measured by meeting project success factors and customer satisfaction.
Identify partnership opportunities and inform sales and/or client services of“add‑on” sales opportunities across projects.
Oversee analysis of client‑provided data to validate worker, manager, supplier, and order information, ensuring accurate job descriptions, compensation codes, classification, and bill rates.
Conduct internal and external project meetings from launch through implementation, and oversee project coordinators in this role.
Supervise project coordinators to deliver timely and accurate agendas, meeting minutes, and action items.
Develop training materials for managers, contractors, and suppliers, and conduct such training independently or with project coordinators.
Produce and maintain all project documents and correspondence to ensure archival and current project information is available.
Oversee operational functions and serve as escalation resource for up to 4 weeks after a client is live with Magnit services.
Construct and present business requirements documents, supplier handbooks, and standard operating procedures to internal and external clients for each implementation.
What You Will Need
3‑5 years of experience in contingent workforce, HR/recruiting, or project management, or 3 years of internal Magnit experience.
Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Ability to be flexible, meet tight deadlines, and independently organize and prioritize work.
Ability and availability to travel to client sites for face‑to‑face meetings, interacting with all organization levels including executive management.
Ability to maintain composure, solve practical problems, and manage a variety of changing situations under stress and tight deadlines.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
Proficiency with MS Office.
Demonstrated success in leadership and staff management.
