We are seeking a passionate and results-driven
Business Development Manager
specializing in the
education sector . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with public schools, primary, secondary and ROC’s, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that align with their goals. You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction across our education vertical.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in educational institutions, including administrators, teachers, and decision-makers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing education partners to foster long‑term partnerships and drive mutual growth.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute account strategies to drive sales growth within the education sector, focusing on both new business acquisition and existing account retention.
Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions that enhance their educational offerings and outcomes.
Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products and services, as well as industry trends and challenges affecting the education sector.
Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients, demonstrating the value of our solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive approach and successful implementation of solutions.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Performance Tracking: Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline activities, and account performance to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
Travel as required to meet with educational institutes, attend industry events, and participate in trade shows to promote our products and services.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Education, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
3+ years of experience in account management or sales, preferably within the education sector.
Proven success in the vertical market education.
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in educational institutions.
Strong understanding of the challenges and trends within the education sector.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas simply and effectively. Communication in Dutch is a requirement.
Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
Strong hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
