This organization is active in transformer technology and manufactures power transformers and secondary installations that are important for the energy supply of the future. From a modern production facility in Nijmegen, various departments work together on technically high-quality products, from winding and assembly to testing and technical support.You will be working in the Final Assembly department. This is the last step before the transformer goes to inspection. Within this department, you will work in a 2-shift system together with a team of about 20 mechanics to completely build transformers. These activities can take 2 to 4 weeks per transformer.Función
As a Final Assembly Mechanic, you are responsible for completely assembling transformers. You place the internal components in the tank and prepare the transformer for the next phase. Then you continue to build the product according to technical drawings and work instructions. You also connect the feed-throughs in the tank and check during work if everything is technically correct. If you encounter a problem during construction? Then you report it, think along with the solution and take action where possible immediately. Because the final assembly is the last phase before inspection, independence, curiosity, and attention to detail are important.In addition, you think along with improvements in the process. You work on transformers that, after testing and preparation for shipment, go around the world. In some cases, you may also be involved in the worldwide placement and assembly of transformers.
