Mechanic Final Assembly, Nijmegen

What you will be doing:

As an assembly technician in the Final Assembly department, you will work in a two-shift system in teams of 20 technicians to assemble the complete transformer. Your mission? To ensure that it is ready for testing in our high-voltage lab! After testing and preparation for shipment, this transformer will be sent around the world. You will be responsible for this work, which can take two to four weeks.Your responsibilities will include: Placing the internal components in the tank and preparing for the next phase.

Assembling the transformer in full according to drawings and work instructions.

Connecting bushings in the tank.

Identifying and resolving problems during the construction of the transformer.

Making suggestions for improvements throughout the process.

Installing and assembling the transformer worldwide.

Final assembly is the last step before the transformer goes to the factory acceptance test (FAT). Independence, curiosity, attention to detail, and having your own opinion are important qualities for completing the transformer and avoiding future challenges. What you bring to the table:

A completed MBO degree in mechanics, electrical engineering, or electromechanics.

Experience as an assembly technician or in a similar role.

Willingness to immerse yourself in the product.

Taking responsibility for your tasks and obligations.

Knowledge of constructions and manufacturing processes.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

A valid driver's license.

You speak both Dutch and English.
