Are you technically minded, well-organized, and energized by supporting the sales process? At WTT in Oldenzaal, we are looking for a Sales Engineer who plays a key role in translating international customer requests into technically and commercially strong solutions.
At WTT, we build high-tech installations all over the world to process organic waste.
Your Role As a Sales Engineer at WTT, you support the entire sales process from A to Z: from the initial customer request through to the preparation of tenders, quotations, and the handover to project execution. You will work closely with the Sales&Marketing team, engineering, operations, and our technical knowledge center.
You ensure that quotations are technically sound, complete, and feasible. Thanks to your combination of technical knowledge, analytical skills, and communication abilities, you act as an important link between sales, engineering, and project execution.
Your Main Responsibilities
Supporting the preparation, development, and follow-up of tenders, quotations, and commercial proposals
Translating customer requests and technical specifications into concrete and feasible solutions
Preparing and developing technical documentation, layouts, and drawings
Creating calculations and technical cost analyses
Coordinating customer requirements with engineering and operations
Managing and updating customer and quotation data
Supporting order processing and project handovers
Maintaining contact with customers, suppliers, and partners
Collaborating with the technical knowledge center for process expertise and technical validation
Identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to the standardization of solutions
What do we Expect from you?
Technical education at Bachelor’s or Master’s level, or equivalent working and thinking level
Affinity with industrial installations and process technology
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
A team player who can easily switch between commercial and technical topics
Technical insight and affinity with industrial/technical products
Good communication skills in Dutch and English (German, French, Italian, or Spanish is considered a plus)
Experience with drawing software, calculation software, or technical documentation is considered a plus
