Tasks and responsibilities

As a Supervisor you will manage Team Leader(s) and Warehouse employees, and are responsible for achieving all department objectives. Achieve departmental objectives Analyze departmental results Improve productivity and efficiency Make improvement proposals to improve services and increase customer satisfactionMinimize errors and shorten lead times Conduct consultations within and outside the department Act as point of contact for both the internal organization and suppliers related to the department Lead, coach, train and motivate the Teamleaders Coach and motivate the team and train new employees Work in a continuous process improvement environment within our network organizationReport to the Warehouse Manager Profile

MBO+ / HBO working and thinking level Demonstrable experience in managing large groups Good knowledge of logistics processes Good knowledge of warehouse management system (preferably WMi) Good communication skills and positive attitude Strong leadership skills and able to motivate a team Decisive, problem‑solving skillsAnalytical skills Excellent knowledge and command of Dutch and English languages both verbally and in writing Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Knowledge of 5S and Lean Six Sigma Flexible and stress‑resistant and able to work overtime in (and if necessary out of) season Willingness to work in the evening shift (15:00 - 00:00)What do we offer?
