As a Maintenance Technician, your job is all about fixing breakdowns on the shop floor, so that production keeps running as smoothly as possible. The machinery at Aludyne is very varied. Together with your experienced colleagues from the Maintenance team, you’ll work on large casting machines, assembly and processing machines, as well as building installations. A lot of the factory is also automated and robotic. No two days are the same, and no two breakdowns are identical, that’s where the technical challenge lies. You’ll never stop learning at Aludyne, and all that experience is something you’ll carry with you throughout your career.

Aludyne in Oss is an aluminium foundry that makes parts for the automotive industry. We supply directly to major car brands. The maintenance department has 16 colleagues, split between a preventive (planned maintenance) group and a corrective (daily breakdowns) group. As a Corrective Maintenance Technician, you’ll be in that second group: four technicians working in 3 shifts, keeping the machines running together. The team consists of experienced technicians who are happy to teach you everything about the machinery. The company runs 24/7 during the week, so you’ll always be working as part of a team (including alongside the production team). Aludyne (formerly known as ‘Brabant Alucast’) is a local Oss company with a typical Brabant working culture — straightforward, informal, and down‑to‑earth.

You have work experience in a technical role, for example as a technician, maintenance employee, or in a production‑related maintenance job; You’ll mainly be working on mechanical issues, but hydraulics, electrics and pneumatics also come up; You’ll be working in a 3‑shift rotation; You keep learning on the job, from your colleagues and through training when needed.

A good salary between€4,250 and €5,500 per month (including a 22.7% shift allowance), depending on your knowledge and experience; You get paid for 40 hours, but on average you only work 36.8 hours per week; 27 holiday days and 6 extra days off (ADV); You start straight away with a one‑year contract at Aludyne,with the possibility of a permanent contract after that;Plenty of opportunities to grow and move up within the company; Training options to help you develop further as a technician, for example electrical courses; Good secondary benefits, in line with the Metalektro collective labour agreement (CAO); Travel allowance of€0.23 per kilometer; You always work at the same location, so you’ll always be home on time!
