About the role

We are looking for a

software engineer , not a“click consultant”. At Nextue, we build complex systems for the (marine) insurance industry on top of the Salesforce platform. While Salesforce is the foundation, most of the work is

backend-heavy, logic-driven software engineering . Think: complex data models financial logic integrations business-critical workflows

What you will do

Build and maintain backend logic (Apex and integrations) Design and implement scalable solutions on a complex data model Work with APIs (REST/SOAP) and external systems Contribute to architecture and technical decisions Collaborate closely with a small, experienced team Help improve structure, quality, and maintainability

What we are looking for

Strong background in

software engineering

(Java, backend, or similar) Experience with

APIs, integrations, and data modeling Ability to understand and work with complex systems Comfortable taking ownership and working independently Pragmatic mindset— you build solutions, not just code

Nice to have

Experience with

Salesforce (Apex, LWC) Experience with

financial systems or insurance Familiarity with

CI/CD, version control, DevOps practices

Not a declarative/configuration role Not focused on flows or low-code solutions Not a purely front-end position
