International Service Engineer, Purmerend

As an International Service Engineer (fulltime), you’ll join a relatively small but highly skilled team of professionals that are always willing to teach and learn. Hobré Instruments is a company based in the Netherlands with its headquarters in Purmerend and offices in Texas, USA and Hungary. Since 1978 we have been providing analyzer and samplesolutions to almost every industry all over the world. You’ll find our systems in petrochemical plants, food and pharma, energy plants and steel factories. Hobré is involved with its products every step of the way, from putting the idea to paper to manufacturing, commissioning, maintenance and training of local users on site. We take pride in our work and always strive to improve and innovate our wide range of products. Online analyzers, sampling probes, entire sampling systems and integrated systems are all custom designed to fit the client’s needs.Your work is split between internal work at the factory/office and external work on site. Internal work varies between remote technical support, performing repairs and testing our products before they leave the factory. External work requires you to travel all over the world for commissioning, user training, troubleshooting or preventative maintenance.Most of the time you’ll be traveling by yourself, so it is essential to have a strong independent mindset and a wide variety of technical and communicative skills to fall back on. You’ll work with many different people and cultures. You will be challenged and thrown into stressful situations, so you’ll need to keep a cool head. You’ll have the opportunity to work on many different types of systems in many different industries. All in all, it is a very challenging job with a lot of variety and room to grow.Requirements

Bachelor in Electronics/Mechanics/Chemical or similar education Affinity with process technology and instrumentation Fluent in English and preferably Dutch (not necessary) Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) A positive, independent, practical and analytical mindset which is capable of working in a teamGood communication in speaking and writing Driving license We offer
