Intern– Communication&Change Management Overview

Royal IHC seeks an energetic intern to support the adoption of AI, Data and Automation across the organization. In this role you will work at the heart of the AIDA Program, driving awareness, engagement and behavioural change so that colleagues at all levels can embrace new AI‑driven ways of working.Responsibilities

Design and execute the communication plan for the AIDA Program (intranet, newsletters, town halls, internal campaigns, video content). Support change‑management activities for AI, data and automation initiatives: stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, training and awareness sessions. Measure adoption and engagement, gather feedback from the business and translate insights into continuous improvements.Build and maintain a community of AIDA ambassadors across the company. Provide fresh ideas on positioning AI in a traditional industry and implement your own improvement plan. Qualifications

HBO or University education (3rd or 4th year) in Communication, Strategic Management, AI, Business IT, Change Management, Innovation Management or a related field. Affinity with AI and other digital technologies. Structured way of working with strong coordination and planning skills. Excellent interpersonal skills– teamwork, facilitation and stakeholder management.Creativity and storytelling capability in written, visual and verbal formats. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English. Benefits

Internship allowance of€652,50 based on a full time workweek. 5–6 month graduation or research internship at the heart of Royal IHC’s AI journey. Workplace at the headquarters in Kinderdijk, starting September 2026. Direct mentoring by the Program Lead AI, Data&Automation and exposure to senior leadership. Great team culture, lunches on Wednesdays and a weekly walk along the windmills in Kinderdijk.
