Whether you’re a recent graduate or have a few years of experience, you are the future of innovation and leadership. That’s why the global Siemens Energy Graduate Program can help you unleash your full potential. With guidance from experienced mentors, extensive training opportunities, and the chance to expand your global network, you will grow both your career and your personal capabilities.
What You Can Expect Over two exciting years, you’ll gain hands‑on experiences and become an active part of your team’s daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments – including an eight‑month international placement – you’ll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders.
In this position, you will join the Wind Power Technology team and be part of developing industry‑leading technical solutions for our wind turbines, both onshore and offshore.
How You’ll Make An Impact As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact. Modern wind turbines are engineering marvels, that require strong cross‑functional collaboration to ensure they meet the highest quality, performance and cost requirements.
By joining our team, you will contribute first‑hand to the technologies that shape our current and future generation wind turbines. Specifically, you will work on (aero‑elastic) modelling, simulations as well as (structural) design of the turbines. By combining engineering knowledge with (fleet) data insights, you help our teams develop technical solutions that best meet our customer’s needs.
What You Bring
You are a curious and quick learner with a passion for energy technologies.
Relevant experience through internships and/or working student roles is essential; additional permanent work experience of up to 36 months is welcome.
A master’s or doctoral degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Maritime, Civil engineering or similar. Applicants with a degree in wind energy engineering (e.g., European Wind Energy Master) are welcomed.
You augment your engineering background with skills in digital technologies such as programming and software development, data science and artificial intelligence.
Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working.
Excellent English skills to engage in a multicultural environment, with flexibility and willingness for international travel.
