Group Consolidation Controller, Rijswijk

As a Group Consolidation Controller, you will play a key role in further professionalizing the group reporting and consolidation processes across the international organization. You will be responsible for consolidating financial data across multiple entities and ensuring consistent, accurate, and timely reporting within a complex international environment.

Client Details XD Connects is an internationally operating trading organization specializing in the design, sourcing, personalization, and distribution of high-quality and sustainable promotional products and corporate gifts. The company is part of a larger international group with operations across multiple countries and legal entities.

The Dutch entity generates approximately€150 million in annual revenue and processes around 200,000 orders per year. From the headquarters in the Rijswijk region, departments such as Finance, Logistics, Product Development, HR, and IT are managed centrally. In addition, the organization operates through several international offices across Europe and Asia.

The culture is entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and hands‑on, with short communication lines, strong ownership, and room for initiative. The organization is currently in a phase of further harmonization and professionalization within the international group structure.

Description As a Group Consolidation Controller, you will play a key role in further professionalizing the group reporting and consolidation processes across the international organization. You will be responsible for consolidating financial data across multiple entities and ensuring consistent, accurate, and timely reporting within a complex international environment.

You will report directly to the Finance Director and work closely with international finance teams and CFOs across the group.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the consolidation of financial figures across all international entities

Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting

Supporting reporting towards the Finance Director and other key stakeholders

Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting from international entities

Playing an active role in the implementation of IFRS

Leading the implementation of a new consolidation system

Identifying reporting risks and initiating process improvements within Group Reporting

Supporting the further harmonization and professionalization of finance processes across the group

Profile

Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably combined with a background in accounting (RA/RC or equivalent)

Proven experience with financial consolidations within an international organization

Hands‑on experience with consolidation systems

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Technically strong and capable of working deeply within financial systems

Experience operating in complex international environments

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Fluent in English; Dutch is considered a plus
