Quality Control Officer, Rijswijk

We are seeking a Quality Control Officer to join the Admin department of one of our key clients, a leading international technology company based in The Hague area, the Netherlands.

Role&Responsibilities As a Quality Control Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring operational quality, driving compliance, and supporting administrative excellence across multiple business units. Your responsibilities will include: Monitoring and evaluating operational quality across business units, covering areas such as asset management, fleet management, housing allowance, canteen operations, event management, and internal communicationsProviding guidance and coordinating cross-functional resources to support business units in resolving operational issues and improving process efficiency Delivering onboarding training to new employees and providing on-the-job coaching to business unit owners to ensure compliance with internal systems, procedures, and standardsDeveloping and managing the annual administrative services budget, including cost allocation schedules across departments and workspace assignments Reviewing and approving purchase requests and payment applications, ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance with financial procedures Managing risk and compliance across all administrative modules, including quarterly CT reviews, semi-annual PR assessments, annual SACA reporting, and GDPR/information security requirementsReviewing and updating internal policies and business instruction handbooks in line with operational requirements Coordinating with quality departments during external audits, ISO certification assessments, and other regulatory inspections Supporting key operational projects such as office space reallocation, canteen change management, and other ad hoc administrative initiativesActing as backup for the Team Lead and supporting day-to-day operational continuity as needed Essential Skills&Experience Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality control, compliance, operations, or administrative management Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPointDemonstrated ability to manage budgets, cost allocations, and financial documentation Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese (both mandatory) given the working environment Desirable Skills&Experience Background in finance, auditing, or internal controls Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ISO, or EHS standards Experience in an international corporate or technology-sector environment Exposure to project management or cross-functional coordination Package Full-time position based in The Hague areaInternational and multicultural working environment Employment contract with Octagon Professionals Immediate start
