The Role As a
Customer Service Specialist , you are the key contact for customers, managing the entire process from order to invoice. You build strong relationships, translate needs into smart logistics solutions, and act as the vital link between customers and internal teams. By ensuring seamless operations, monitoring performance, and driving improvements and upsell opportunities, you boost both customer satisfaction and business growth.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of customer orders from initial request through invoicing, ensuring an exceptional customer experience at every stage.
Build trust‑based relationships with our customers, including leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
Act as the key link between customers and internal teams, driving operational excellence and seamless service delivery.
Monitor costs, margins, and documentation to ensure accurate and timely billing processes.
Be proactive in driving improvements and exploring upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
What we are looking for
A bachelor’s degree (HBO) and at least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a dynamic international logistics environment.
Knowledge of international logistics and customs (import/export) processes is a strong plus.
A precise, analytical, and solution‑driven mindset, combined with commercial awareness and decisiveness.
A strong drive for personal growth, flexibility, and continuous learning.
Excellent command of Dutch and English; German is a valuable asset.
