C# .NET Software Engineer (Soft-&Hardware, R&D)

As a C# .NET software engineer, you will be working on a beautiful piece of soft-&hardware used worldwide to automate a vital process in the passenger transportation industry. This role offers a variety of opportunities as a C# .NET developer, whether you work on the client side with cloud technologies like Azure, ASP.NET Core, Docker, Kubernetes, or engage directly with hardware such as cameras and scanners. You will be programming in C# on both ends (no PLC stuff).Dealing with a tangible product; the R&D showroom is downstairs. Start-up atmosphere, part of a multinational company. Working with modern technologies: C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure. Freedom of choice regarding technology and technical implementation. Majority of developers are senior level. The software department is divided into two teams of 7, focusing on different aspects of the software. All software is built in-house, and everyone involved in the SDLC works on the same floor. Their CI/CD is set up in Azure DevOps, and they use a combination of Scrum and Kanban to manage their work.Due to ambitious growth plans, they want to expand with both experienced (medior, senior) and less experienced (junior) .NET developers. They value being a good all-round software engineer who understands concepts and modern principles over specific experience with frameworks. Knowledge of implementing SOLID principles and design patterns is highly regarded. Team fit is important, and they look for:Passion for software. Ability to work collaboratively.
