Mercer Rotterdam, South Holland, Netherlands Role: Working student on the Health (Mercer Marsh Benefits) department in Rotterdam. Contract type: Temporary; part-time two days per week. Responsibilities

Work on projects that are socially relevant within the Health department, focusing on people risks such as sustainable employability, absenteeism and disability, generational issues, care costs and labour market shortages. Contribute to the development and refinement of models to forecast a employer’s workforce and to assess the impact on sickness absence and disability.Show costs for continuing as-is and sketch scenarios with policy changes; develop models to calculate premiums for sickness absence and disability insurance and forecast trends. Explore topics such as care costs from a societal perspective and provide actionable insights. Qualifications

You want to make an impact on society by working on the topics described above. Currently enrolled in a relevant Dutch university programme (year 2 or higher): Econometrics Mathematics Physics Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence Related beta studies Strong curiosity, quick learner, and willingness to speak up if you think your idea may improve on what you are told.Good knowledge of R and Python. Ability to work independently and in a small team. Available two days per week (to be agreed). What we offer
