About The Job

We are currently seeking a Senior Data Architect to join our rapidly growing team. The Senior Data Architect will lead the design of a Data Management Platform (DMP) in Databricks, while guiding the DMP development team to build and continuously enhance the overall architecture landscape. Working on this strategic initiative, you will play a key role in enabling greater efficiency, compliance, and scalability within the energy ecosystem.The Senior Data Architect designs high-level architecture and defines architectural patterns and development standards for the development team to follow, and performs a quality assurance role on development. Key Responsibilities Data Architect

Problem Solving: Address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions to complex problems System Design: Lead the design of a Data Management Platform (DMP) in Databricks. Leveraging technical knowledge, you develop blueprints for solutions, including workflow diagrams, system architectures, and mockups, ensuring they fulfill user needs and are technically feasible.Collaboration with Teams: You closely collaborate with the DMP development team, QA teams, and project managers to guarantee that proposed solutions are implemented accurately and on time. Planning&Organization: Planning, tracking, and scheduling DMP deliverables Architecture Quality Control: Perform architecture reviews (code, design, patterns, etc.), Software testing, verification and validation Gathering and Analyzing Requirements: You work directly with external stakeholders to grasp business goals and convert them into actionable functional and technical designs and solutionsCreate, design, and own solutions: You are eager to solve business problems with software solutions. You quickly understand business problems, design solutions, and can realize them together with your team. What We Are Looking For

Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT (or related) field Proven track record in

designing and implementing a data platform

( Databricks

experience highly preferred), including leading a team of engineers and being fully responsible for delivery>8 years relevant experience in Data and Software Architecture Strong leadership in delivering architectural solutions for projects of strategic importance Strong experience with IT/OT data, data modelling, analytics, data lakes, data governance, data management, master data management, and application/data integrationHands-on experience with tools and technologies such as pandas, Jupyter Notebooks, Databricks, (experience with other libraries is also acceptable) Experience in Python development is preferred Strong knowledge and experience in data modeling and designing data products that are reusable across subdomainsYou have excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture (experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven/service-based systems is a plus) You are enthusiastic about technology, with a commitment to staying abreast of the latest technological trends and advancements You identify and translate a clients needs and business vision into a fitting technical solutionYour stakeholder management is excellent. You work effectively with the client's stakeholders, supporting them in identifying and aligning on what is required to take the next step in the project Your communication skills are excellent.
