Most workplace architects spend their careers optimising for stability. This role asks for something rarer: the conviction to redesign how 4,000+ people across multiple countries work - and the rigour to make it last. At Eneco, the modern workplace isn\'t a support function. It\'s critical infrastructure for Europe\'s energy transition. Bachelor\'s or Master\'s in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering - or equivalent experience that makes the degree irrelevant Proven track record designing and delivering workplace solutions for 1,000+ users in enterprise environments Deep expertise in Azure, Entra ID, Intune, AVD, M365, CyberArk, JAMF, and modern workplace devicesMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent (preferred, not required) Able to align, explain, and influence at every level of the organisation Experienced with zero-trust, modern security architecture, and governance frameworks You’ll be responsible for

Defining the architectural vision Own Eneco\'s modern workplace strategy end-to-end. Set the direction, write the blueprints, and balance startup agility with enterprise robustness. Transform business goals into scalable, maintainable architecture that real people can actually use. Building and owning the platformLead delivery across Microsoft 365, Azure, AVD, Entra ID, Intune, JAMF, CyberArk, and SailPoint. Turn best-in-class tools into frictionless user experiences. Pilot emerging workplace technologies and iterate with data-driven insight. Championing security as a design principle Embed zero-trust and secure-by-design thinking into every solution from day one - not as a layer added at the end. Safeguard employee experience and critical infrastructure without creating friction that slows people down.Leading through influence Align C-level vision with front-line technical realities.
