Retail Services Associate The Retail Services Associate supports daily museum shop operations while helping maintain a welcoming and well-organized retail environment. This role focuses on excellent customer service, shop presentation, and operational support, serving as a front-facing presence and collaborating with the team to ensure a positive visitor experience.

Present and organize the shop to ensure a high-quality visitor experience.

Preferred schedule: Tue–Sun 10 am–4 pm, open to 8 pm Thu; On‑call as needed.

Visual Identity&Messaging Coordinator This role is responsible for advancing the Joslyn Art Museum’s visual identity and messaging across multiple touchpoints, including visitor-facing print materials, advertising campaigns, signage and wayfinding, exhibition, program, and event promotion, and member and donor communications.

Develop and maintain visual identity across all platforms.

Coordinate print materials, advertising, signage, and promotional content.

Ensure consistent messaging with museum objectives.

Visitor Experience Ambassador The Visitor Experience Ambassador creates a welcoming environment for all museum visitors. They monitor buildings and grounds, protect museum assets, ensure visitor safety, and prevent unauthorized access. Responsibilities include enforcing public space rules, reporting on activities, interacting with visitors and staff, and staying alert to potential hazards to maintain a safe and positive environment.

Monitor museum grounds and buildings.

Enforce visitor rules and report incidents.

Interact with visitors and staff to promote safety.

Stay alert to hazards and maintain a safe environment.

Preferred schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, with a minimum of 21 hours per week. Availability for evenings, weekends, and special events is required.
