Desirable Skills Experience with automated warehouses and Material Flow Systems (MFS) Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and FMCG industry environments Additional European language proficiency Basic understanding of ABAP and ability to debug code Experience with IDoc processing Experience in project roles such as PM, business consulting, test coordination, or steering committee participationExposure to agile ways of working

About the Role As the Subject Matter Expert (SAP EWM), you act as an internal consultant with full ownership of the application landscape. You are responsible for designing, implementing, and rolling out optimal IT solutions that support internal logistics processes, including finished products, ingredients, and packaging materials.You will maintain and continuously improve the SAP EWM environment by identifying enhancement opportunities and ensuring system stability across productive and test landscapes. You will manage incidents, changes, and projects related to the application, working closely with a diverse, international Core Applications team, business stakeholders across multiple business units, and external co-sourcing partners.The role is highly dynamic, offering exposure to multiple seniority levels and functions. You are expected to operate in an agile, hands-on manner, foster strong team spirit, and build an effective internal network.

Key responsibilities include: Coordinating offshore L2/L3 support teams (6–7 FTE), monitoring performance and ensuring SLA compliance Leading incident resolution, including escalation management and participation in critical incident calls Driving problem management to reduce recurring incidents through system and process improvementsActing as escalation point for complex or high-impact incidents Leading system changes from requirement gathering to production deployment Writing functional specifications, including impact analysis, test cases, and authorization concepts Performing or overseeing SAP configuration (SPRO) and collaborating with development teams on technical designCoordinating and validating unit testing and UAT outcomes Ensuring proper documentation of process changes by business process owners Supporting go-live and hypercare activities, including acting in project or support roles
