We are looking for a Quality Inspector_Mechanical to join our team at Bonatti Spa Dutch Branch for the Porthos CO₂ Project, which involves the construction of a compression station for the storage of CO₂ in an empty gas field in the North Sea.
Responsibilities The Quality Coordinator_Mechanical will be responsible for inspection, surveillance, and quality control activities related to mechanical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Inspect and supervise mechanical installation and testing activities (piping, equipment, supports) in accordance with approved ITPs, procedures, and specifications.Ensure that construction activities comply with IFC drawings, applicable standards, and project quality requirements. Perform proactive surveillance inspections to identify and prevent non‑conformities. Support construction teams in resolving issues related to inspections, testing, and quality requirements.Initiate NCRs, verify corrective actions, and ensure timely closure. Coordinate witness and hold points with the Client and Contractor. Prepare, manage, and follow up internal and client punch lists until final acceptance. Monitor construction quality performance to minimize rework, delays, and non‑conformance costs.Coordinate inspection and testing activities with subcontractors and vendors as required. Maintain, control, and upload all Quality Control documentation and reports. Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements during all project activities.
Requirements Solid experience in QA/QC Mechanical within construction projects, preferably Oil&Gas / EPC environments. Strong knowledge of O&G documentation and mechanical procedures, including ITPs, ITRs, punch lists, mechanical completion, and quality dossiers. Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (ASTM, ASME, ACI, AWS, etc.) and the ability to apply them on site. Fluent English. Availability to work on site at construction locations.
