Scope This person is located in the office and supports the sales team to connect with suppliers, gets the best prices and submit offers to customers.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining commercial relationship between the BDS team and the client

Ensure Salesforce is up to date

Manage and maintain sales-specific campaigns and projects

Aim to create new customer portfolio by identifying new leads via cold calling, using lead generation tools, and research and analysis

Organize customer visits for the sales team as needed

Communicate with department heads regarding customer’s needs

Conduct good relations with customers and BDP employees

Assist with quoting and preparing client proposals for the PSA BDP BDS team by engaging with origin and destination offices, as well as with procurement and tender management

Prepare sales and marketing-related reports upon request for PSA BDP BDS team

Assist with completion of RFI and RFQ as needed

Work with BDS and Operations to develop Standard Operating Procedures as needed

Maintain designated target lists for BDS team

Other duties as required

Qualifications / Experience

Minimum of 2 years business experience in sales support or telemarketing in a freight forwarding company

Fluent English– written and verbal communication, other languages are an advantage.

Computer Skills: Outstanding Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
