Intern IT Internal Audit, Rotterdam

Internship Group IT Audit We are offering a great opportunity for an IT Audit Internship within our group Internal Audit team, where you will gain hands‑on experience in assessing and improving our company’s digital governance and security landscape. As part of the international IT Audit team, you will help ensure the reliability, integrity, and efficiency of our IT systems and processes. Working closely with experienced professionals, you willcontribute to meaningful projects that strengthen our organization’s digital foundation while developing your own analytical and technical skills.

Location: Rotterdam Office

Availability: 4/5 days per week

Duration: August 2026 – at least 6 months

What will you do?

Support IT and Cybersecurity Audits related to SAP, SOX IT general controls, and compliance frameworks such as NIS2.

Review and document technology‑related processes, identify control gaps, and suggest improvements.

Contribute to governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, including maintaining audit workflows and records in the GRC platform.

Use tools like Excel, Power BI, etc. to analyse data, prepare audit findings, and support reporting for stakeholders.

Work closely with IT, cybersecurity, and business teams to gather evidence, understand systems, and support audit fieldwork.

About you

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Excited to be part of a dynamic and international company.

Hands‑on and proactive with a can‑do attitude.

Strong analytical and consultative IT skills, combined with a genuine interest in people.

You like to be part of an international and dynamic team and environment.

Available for at least 28 or 32 hours per week for at least a period of 6 months from August 2026 onwards.
