The Role We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to accelerate Simwave’s commercial growth. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and driving revenue across maritime training and simulation solutions.

Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will play a key role in shaping commercial direction, identifying new opportunities, and strengthening Simwave’s position in the global maritime market.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets within the maritime sector

Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the Netherlands and internationally

Create, manage and grow relationships with key maritime clients, partners, and stakeholders

Collaborate closely with the CCO on commercial strategy, market positioning, and pipeline development

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and tenders

Represent Simwave at industry events, conferences, and client meetings

Work cross-functionally with operations, training, and digital teams to deliver customer‑centric solutions

Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM data

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy

Your Profile

Proven experience in sales or business development within the maritime industry

Strong commercial mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets

Experience selling complex services, training, or technical solutions is a strong advantage

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills

Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, results‑driven approach

Comfortable working in an international environment

Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events and abroad

Fluent in English (Dutch is an advantage)
