Maintenance Engineer (3-shifts), Sittard

As Maintenance Engineer, you are the backbone of a smooth-running production floor. You combine hands-on technical skill with a structured mindset: you don't just fix problems, you prevent them.

What you'll be doing

Keeping production equipment in top condition and reducing unplanned downtime;

Building and executing preventive maintenance schedules;

Digging into the root cause of breakdowns— not just patching things up;

Translating technical findings into clear documentation and practical improvement plans;

Supporting the roll‑out and commissioning of new equipment;

Working with software controls for production machinery;

Collaborating with production, management, and other departments on both day-to-day operations and longer‑term reliability improvements;

Monitoring facility and utility systems to ensure a safe working environment.

Wie ben je?

An MBO level 4 background in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience);

A proven track record in a maintenance role within a production environment;

Good command of English, spoken and written;

Flexibility to work in shifts and join an on‑call rotation;

Willingness to occasionally travel for training or visits to other sites;

Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
