Job Summary

Senior Manager, Operations– Lenti Viral Vector Facility, Sassenheim, Netherlands. Lead the ramp‑up and full‑capacity operation of the advanced therapies manufacturing site, ensuring compliance with EHSS, cGMP and other regulatory requirements while driving strategic growth. Responsibilities

Ensure a seamless ramp‑up of the Lenti Viral Vector manufacturing site at Sassenheim to full capacity. Recruit, train and qualify production staff and ensure operational documentation is available in compliance with EHSS and cGMP. Deliver manufacturability and operational input for ramp‑up and continuous manufacturing.Develop change control strategy for operations. Execute documentation strategy for operational ramp‑up. Lead and coordinate the operation model to reliably deliver batches. Ensure operators are accurately trained and that all required documentation is approved to support manufacturing. Certify all disposables, raw materials and production areas to GMP standards.Develop advanced therapies long‑term strategy for Sassenheim and maintain budget, headcount model and CIP for operations. Build and maintain a solid network with JBV, other J&J sites, regulatory agencies, contractors, partners, vendors and external parties. Share best practices across JBV and J&J sites and act as delegate of the site head. Promote a safe and sustainable work environment; act as a Credo champion and ensure incident management and compliance gaps are addressed. Assess processes, implement improvements and drive people development through training, green belt sponsorship, CI/BI initiatives and A3 thinking.Encourage continuous improvement and lead for company‑wide process excellence. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in (bio)science or process engineering. Minimum 8 years practical industrial experience and at least 5 years in a managerial position. Excellent command of Dutch and English. Strong EHS&S and cGMP awareness and experience. Supply‑chain knowledge – understanding key principles, market dynamics and economies of scale. Performance‑management skills – measuring KPI impact on profitability. Data gathering and analysis – ability to use tools and techniques for strategic decision making.Benefits
