Employment agency Manpower is looking for a Spanish speaking Payroll Specialist in Terneuzen. As a Payroll Specialist for Spain, you’ll be the go-to expert ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing for all Spanish employees. From managing data and collaborating with HR partners to overseeing audits and system improvements — your work keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. What you’ll do:

Deliver payroll, time&absence, and data management services for Spain

Ensure accurate and timely salary payments and statutory reporting

Safeguard confidentiality and compliance with Spanish payroll legislation

Support audits, internal controls, and process improvements

Coordinate with external payroll providers and internal HR teams

Assist employees by resolving payroll-related questions quickly and accurately

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or higher in HR, Finance, or related field

At least five years of payroll experience

Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)

Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Customer‑focused and self‑motivated mindset

Preferred Experience

Familiarity with Workday, ServiceNow, ADP Streamline, and/or SAP

Knowledge of additional European languages

Experience in high‑volume operational environments

Background in audit participation or internal controls
